{"id":287,"date":"2021-05-19T19:27:48","date_gmt":"2021-05-20T00:27:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.fin.solar\/noticias\/?p=287"},"modified":"2021-05-19T19:27:50","modified_gmt":"2021-05-20T00:27:50","slug":"mexico-el-gigante-dormido-de-la-energia-renovable","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blog.fin.solar\/noticias\/mexico-el-gigante-dormido-de-la-energia-renovable\/","title":{"rendered":"M\u00e9xico, el gigante dormido de la energ\u00eda renovable"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>De los tres pa\u00edses que conforman Norteam\u00e9rica, M\u00e9xico est\u00e1 \u201ca muchos pasos detr\u00e1s\u201d de Estados Unidos y Canad\u00e1 en la transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica y con un atraso considerable en su infraestructura para permita el uso adecuado del gas natural, algo que servir\u00eda \u00a0como un puente hacia un futuro con un mayor uso de energ\u00edas renovables en la producci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda, dijo la directora ejecutiva de IEnova, Tania Ortiz Mena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0Durante una cumbre patrocinada por el Centro de Pol\u00edtica Energ\u00e9tica Global de la Universidad de Columbia, la ejecutiva de IEnova dejo ver que este atraso debe ser visto m\u00e1s como una oportunidad que como un desaf\u00edo para un pa\u00eds que importa de Estados Unidos alrededor de 70% del gas que consume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Una de las principales barreras para iniciar con la reconstrucci\u00f3n de un nuevo futuro en el uso de las energ\u00edas renovables es mejorar el compromiso y dialogo entre el gobierno y la poblaci\u00f3n, dijo, esto es necesario para generar el apoyo que se requiere para construir m\u00e1s tuber\u00edas e infraestructura que facilite la transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica. Eso significa reconocer, no evitar, el impacto de las emisiones de combustibles f\u00f3siles en el cambio clim\u00e1tico, a\u00f1adi\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0\u201cEl hecho es que la infraestructura energ\u00e9tica, incluso la m\u00e1s limpia, tiene un impacto ambiental y tiene un impacto social\u201d, consider\u00f3 Ortiz Mena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para Ortiz es importante compensar y mitigar los impactos a largo plazo en las comunidades por el desarrollo de m\u00e1s infraestructura energ\u00e9tica en M\u00e9xico. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLas empresas de energ\u00eda tienen una responsabilidad muy seria, realmente para sobrevivir\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El mes pasado, IEnova, la unidad mexicana de Sempra Energy con sede en California, dijo que est\u00e1 considerando oportunidades para aumentar las exportaciones de electricidad a Estados Unidos a trav\u00e9s del desarrollo de nuevas plantas de energ\u00eda solar y e\u00f3lica en el norte de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEstamos unos pasos por detr\u00e1s, o muchos pasos por detr\u00e1s de Estados Unidos y Canad\u00e1\u201d, dijo Mena. \u201cPero hoy estamos en una buena posici\u00f3n\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De acuerdo con la&nbsp;<strong>Secretar\u00eda de Energ\u00eda<\/strong>&nbsp;(Sener), el pa\u00eds tiene una capacidad instalada para generar energ\u00eda renovable en 31%, repartida de la siguiente manera:&nbsp;<strong>geotermia 1.2%<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>nuclear 2%<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>solar 4.3%<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>e\u00f3lica 7.5%<\/strong>&nbsp;e&nbsp;<strong>hidroel\u00e9ctrica<\/strong>&nbsp;16%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al cierre del 2020, M\u00e9xico registr\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 4,000 MW instalados de energ\u00eda solar, con un crecimiento de m\u00e1s del 30% anual comparado al a\u00f1o anterior. En acuerdos para Generaci\u00f3n Solar Distribuida se pas\u00f3 de 85 mil contratos, con una capacidad instalada de 570 MW en 2018 a 94 mil 893 en 2019, lo que se traduce en una capacidad instalada de 693 MW, m\u00e1s los datos por actualizarse y confirmar de 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estos n\u00fameros parecen buenos, pero son poco aceptables. M\u00e9xico, frente a otras naciones como Alemania, tiene un potencial 44 veces mayor, solamente en capacidad de generaci\u00f3n solar fotovoltaica.
